Boushh Another Boushh build

Snips

New Hunter
Hi all,

I've just started my Boushh build.

Got my helmet kit from Todd (Sandman) last week, but I realised that there's a greeblie missing from the left ear. It's a small square piece (see pic below). Would anyone know where I could get a hold of it?

Also wondering what the greeblie on the side of the large tank is?

I've started work on the leather trousers, will post an update soon.

Have you talked to Todd about getting another piece made and sent to you? He's a pretty reasonable guy, I'm sure he'd work something out for you.

Just sent him an email, but the piece isn't mentioned in his instructions so I have a feeling it might not be part of the kit.

Here is the piece you may be looking for. I usually take that small square piece and cut it in half to use on each side. Hope that maybe helps. Best of luck on your build!

Thanks for the tip, might do that or I might use some lego pieces or something. I haven't touched the helmet yet so got loads of time.

Today I finished one leg of the trousers. Decided to do one first to see if it looked ok. I'm quite happy with it and with the boot spats on and wheathering it should look good. Now to get working on the other leg.

Been doing some more work the last week. Cut out the visor holes and sanded down the top greeblie.

Had a bit of an accident today though. I was trying to sand down a ridge to fit the visor and went straight through the helmet. So I had to fill it with putty and leave it to cure tonight.

Sorry for the pause in posting, been very busy but have been slowly working away.

Here's the current state of the helmet, I'm almost finished with the painting.

Haven't been very good at updating.
I'm near but yet so far...
Still have to finish bandolier, cape and tanks. Also need to fix trousers and weather everything.

In my opinion the two most accurate are Todd's and Clothears. I went with Todd's kit because there was a 9 month wait for Clothears.
Neither is 100% accurate in terms of shape but they're both very very good!

So who makes the most accurate Boushh Helmet?

And this Boushh is now approved BH33493.

Although I lost one of my home made boot-discs at a can at the weekend so am currently making a second one.
