Killstripes are on. Now Fett is looking dangerous.

The dome is finished now. I'll move to the cheeks next.

I blocked in the dark color on the outer cheeks.
I do this by hand with a flat 1/2 inch brush.

Here is the right cheek. It goes pretty quick as there's not as much damage as on the left cheek.

The left cheek is done too. Red will be next!

Got the red on tonight. I always love getting this stage done.

The keyslot area is finished. I'll work on the red band next.

Here's the center section. Lots of detail in this narrow space!

The left side of the band is finished. I still need to add the white thumbprints.

This finishes the band, and everything behind the ear platforms.

Worked on a couple of the weathering effects this afternoon. Here are the white thumbprints and the tape damage below the killstripes.

I'm starting on Fett's "face" now.

I'm working my way across the brow area. Here's the left side.

Finished the right half of the brow.

I break the right mandible into upper and lower areas. I finished the upper area this morning.
I've shown this before, but I'm including a collage that shows how I build the detail working topically.



I'll keep working my way down the mandible.

Here's the completed right mandible, along with a full face shot. Things are nearly complete now! I need to work on the ears and then do final weathering.

I use some rust colored paint to weather the RF stalk.

The RF topper is detailed and installed.
