I got the upper area of the dome finished. Lots going on up there!

Howzabout some killstripes? I thought 14 sounded like a good number.
Now that these are done, I can finish the remaining SE grunge on the left side of the dome.

I finished the rest of the SE damage that overlaps the killstripes. There are only a few small details left to add on the dome. I'll do those with artist's pencils just before the final clear coat to avoid smudging them.
Next, the helmet gets cheeky!

I got the outer cheeks blocked in. I'll work on the damage this weekend.

The right cheek is finished. I'll move to the left side next.

I got the left cheek finished. The helmet is quite cheeky now!
Next up... red!

Red! Now things are looking a lot more like Boba Fett. This stage really ties all the colors together.

I finished the keyslot section today. I'll move up to the band next.

Finished with the center section of the red band. I really like all the little shapes in this area. I'll move to the left side next.

The left section of the red band is finished, including the white thumbprints. I'll work on the right side next.

I did the right side of the red band. This finishes everything behind the ears and now I can start working on the front!

Woah almost at the finish line!

Here's the area around the left corner of the visor. It includes that crazy SE crack repair!
I'll start working my way across the "brow" above the visor next.

I did the left half of the brow. There's another "putty stain" in this area.

Finished the right side of the brow. It's a great warmup for the mandibles! They're coming next.

I completed the left mandible. Fett's face is half finished! On to the crazy right side.

A brief electronic interlude before working on the right mandible.
I built up the RF assembly including the JC27 light kit. Light test... good!
