Dressing a Bounty Hunter in 40 Stages - A Black and White Story

And thanks to Wasted for his vid of suiting up (helped my figure out the Jetpack):

q: I thought the neck seal was in-between the flight-suit and flak vest. hmm.

Flight Suit > Neck Seal > Flak Vest
vs.
Neck Seal > Flight Suit > Flak Vest

Maybe I need to neck seal, flight suit, flak vest then. Back to the Gallery for research!

Congrats on your helpful family!

Awesome Video!! :love

I always liked the various dressing stages of the Supertrooper and the Pre-Pro #1 suits found in the TDH Gallery (the Promo #1 armor and vest was added in lack of other sources). So I said, it's time to do a silent step by step 'documentation' (because images worth more than 1000 words) with the dressing of the best Bounty Hunter in the whole galaxy: BOBA FETT.

Wow! It is not until you see many of those pictures that on realizes what an insane amout of work will still be needed to get everything to a 1:1 accuracy.

Does anyone know why the doors of many of the fan made jetpacks all lok so very different to the door seen here ?

The Boba Fett suit is a well made suit built with so much love; and well documented.

In lack of reference images, but also the fact that it is the non visible side.

Thank you, RafalFett . I figured as much. But with insane amout of effort spent on the tiniest details (some also non-visible, like the vest attatchment methods etc.), I wondered why I havent seen a Jetpack jet that is screen accurate in that regard.

Also, that jetpack door is different to the others. So, fanmade jetpacks have an accurate door for RotJ, and PP2 (sister suit), but not to the PP1 jetpack. I do not know about the ESB jetpack.

I forget the odd shape of the Supertrooper/PP1/PP3 jetpack door. Later for ROTJ they redid the door and the connector's notch to match the PP2/ROTJ style:

I had never seen that picture! FOUR jetpacks in it! Do we know if the ESB jetpack is the PP1/3 repainted? I think I've seen it on tour pictures with the PP1 helmet in UK.

In the images I posted the PP1 jetpack was slightly modified to fit the needs for ROTJ and I assume that it is still in the LFL archives.

I know we derailed this thread, but a good discussion has its place everywhere. Here are 2 ROTJ packs on set in Yuma (poor screencap):

The top one seems to be 1 of the 2 stunts with its tilted rocket/grappling hook, the other... who knows.
And another image of 2 ROTJ packs (I think I got this image from the BFFC facebook page):
