This is my first helmet paint up, Been working on this for about 5 days now, I was going to post all of the progress when I was finished but I figured I might as well share it now, you can follow my progress on my instagram account too. I dont have the materials to do the stencil method but now I'm wishing I did, I'll have to figure out how to scale the images correctly on my computer as well so they fit onto the helmet, for now I have just been following pictures of the stencil and using the EFX helmet as a reference for the positioning of the damage, overall I think it's looking good so far.

Saw it on your Instagram already. I think you did a fantastic job, this being your first paint-up. Dont get me wrong. Im really not able to judge the quality of the job itself in detail. I only know... I would not be able to come up with results like that. Especially not on first try.
What helmet kit did you use?

Kill stripes have been added! And with that the dome is complete, I realised that I made the scratch a little bit too low but it's a lesson learned that will only make future helmets even better

Thanks man! And yeah I actually have a thread on my profile for my jetpack paint up too and I will be painting a new pair of chest armor in the next week or so

Another update! Cheeks are done, still some weathering to do on them but I will do that at the end when I do my overall weathering pass over.

That's right another update! Back panels have been painted on but I still need to go in and paint the details, also here is an overall update on how the helmet is looking.
