Update time. I got the decals from vanoakprops and they were perfect. Definitely the finishing touch.
Painted the blaster yesterday but i dont have a scoope for it yet.
FIRST OUTTING YESTERDAY. It went great and the suit was very comfortable. Definitely not done with this suit yet. I still need to make the jetpack and buy a better accurate belt and girth.
I forgot the middle chest piece in car. Ha

Looks great! It looks like you have the dome and the armor the same color. What color did you use?
I may have to use the same place you did for decals. The place I went through hasn’t contacted me in over a week. No email saying aI bought anything. Nothing. It’s looking like another PayPal chargeback.

Thank you very much. Yeah i painted the armor and dome with congo green from home depot. It came out a good green. Not to light or dark.
And yeah van oak props is on etsy. Hes a great guy who makes alot of other decals and does youtube diy props.

Hi everyone! Hope ur all doing good. I have an update. I re-did some of my suit and decided to make the jetpack for boba as well.
I reprinted the gauntlets with new files that are thicker and in the style of rotj, shout out to TerranCmdr! The back of the rocket did not hold up at con though sadly lol
Added hoses as well
Then i also had time to print the scope for the
Blaster. Im using the original blaster.
I also purchased a new girth belt which is amazing! Its 6inches wide unlike the bad one i had before that was like 2inches. I love it

And a new thicker scarf from
Greylonesplace on etsy. Both fantastic! Highly recommend.
Then i decided to go all in for wondercon and make the jetpack. It definitely wasn't a east print. I did cut it into peices so it was a little faster.
I did add the orange light into the pack
I attached it to the backplate with bolts and locking nuts. Then with industrial strength velcro to the vest. It held on the whole time luckily.
I decided the helmet can get hot so i added in fans as well. Lastly i like to add small stuff to give my boba my own touch so i added a black cape similar to the original cape he wore in size and placement and also i printed a cp30 head i was planning to add to my back but it proved too much as in the weight of the pack was already overbearing on my back. I painted it black and added the leds similar to the evil c3po from the comics.

New update: I really wanted a new belt so i was tempted to buy one but i don't have 300$ laying around sadly so i decided to make one. I really didn't like the one I had, it was super narrow like a normal belt and thats not how bobas was.
I figured Id use the 3d printed pouches I already had and layer over them with pleather. I found at joann the perfect brown pleather, 15$ for a yard. I have alot left over still which is great if I mess up lol
Then I started wrapping the pouches. I used heavy duty fabric glue and also gorilla hot glue to secure it. I then cut the outlines for the pouches openings.
I didn't make a pattern like the 3d printed one has but there is a big difference. I loved how it came out so i continued. The pouches slide on to a belt so it fit snug. Files from do3d. Sidenote ima black out the cut areas so that extra tread doesn't show as much.
I then tried my hand at making the belt. I cut 5 inches straight as possible off the roll and folded bottom and top in to make a 2.5 inche belt.
Heres the outcome so far.
I need to attach the bullet holder, cover the holster with pleather and print a bigger buckle.
