I really like those yellow-brown baby food looking stains (I didn't know how else to describe it)

Nice work (y)

Thanks for the kind words, I appreciate that.

The "baby-food" stains are simulations of the grease stains found on the helmet. That's a SuperJedi idea, kudos to Eric on that.

As for the main green, that is a custom color. That's part of what took so long on this helmet. I went back, did a lot of mixes and experimented on how light reacts with those colors. Between that shot of Gino with the ESB Hero and the CIV photos that are pretty heavily soaked with flash, that's the benchmarks I was trying to reach.

Robert, this has to be one of the best paintups I've seen in a long time. You really nailed those colours and those stripes look just as weak and faded as the real deal. It's stellar work, it really is. I sense an increase in requests for commissions and well deserved.

Brilliant.

Fact.

Live etc

I can't get over those stains, I don't know why... It gives it a different level of character. I've never seen/noticed them before

Major, how did I not see this thread before!? You did an AMAZING job on this man. The darker mixes are absolutely the way to go.
