The cod piece is boba maker - I also have back and kidney painted by Daz too

is this green acceptable or should I try and get it darker ?

Thinking of trying 116 - it's dark very dark

or should I just give up and respray the cod and kidney and back armour ?

Most defiantly too light, go darker.
Are you doing test strips? I strongly recomend you do if you're not. this will not only save wasted paint, it will save heart ache and time if you have to do it again.

If Bobamaker painted the cod piece try using Tamiya XF-65 acrylic paint. That's the same paint Daz recommend me to use, when I repainted one of my armor parts.Hope this helps.

Since you have the cod already painted by Daz, id go with what NewFett72 recommended just so you have consistency. the armor and cod should be the same color. I have used Model Master dark Euro green for ROTJ as a base and then added weathering, but im more of a ESB guy. I also use enamels. That said there is a Humbrol color i cant remember the number right this second.., that i think if mixed with the Euro Dark Green would make a close match to what Daz has there..i'll have to check.
