Superjedi's PP1 Eyes for Budafett

Hey all you Fett heads! It's been a bit, but I'm back with a new commission.
This won't be an ESB or an SE lid. I'm starting on a Pre-pro 1 "Eyes" helmet! It's been quite a while since I've worked on a Pre-pro and this one is for my old buddy Budafett. He purchased it already completed but wanted to zazz up the paintjob a little, so I'll be reworking it for him.
The kit is a Minutefett fiberglass helmet, with metal ears and Borden.
Here's how everything arrived, stripped and ready for some fresh colors.

Starting with the ears on this PP1 build. The RF ear parts have been masked and sprayed with a couple light coats of self-etching primer.
The left ear will remain bare metal.

Got a nice clean layer of primer on the helmet. We're ready for some color now!

I airbrushed the first color on the back panels. So different than the ESB!

Back panels are finished! I really like the damage patterns on this area of the Pre-pro 1.
Next up will be the main green for the dome and cheeks.

Green time! This is a custom mix that's a slightly modified version of my ESB mix.

And ShortFuse.... nope!

I got the left side of the dome done, including the... slash? What's everyone calling the PP1 equivalent of the dent?
Similar to the SE, there's a lot of damage detail on this side.

Did you ever get the feeling you're being watched?
I'm positive opinions vary, but the Eyes version of the Pre-pro 1 has always been my favorite.

Boba Has always been a favorite of mine since I was a kid. I was never sure how I felt about the EYES. But I’m starting to come round on it……Maybe it’s the painter.
