I finished the middle part of the red band. Even though the band is pretty narrow, there's a lot of nice detail in there.

Here's the left side of the band. That nice clean red is getting more grungy by the day!

The right side of the band is done. I'll move back around to the front next.

Finished up the left side of the brow. On to the right half!

I got the right half of the brow done. This area is a good warm up for the mandibles! They're up next.

Left mandible is done! The right side is coming next.

Finished with the upper part of the right mandible. It's one of the most detail heavy portions of the helmet. I'm including a collage showing how I do the detail topically.

The right mandible is complete!
That finishes the "basic" painting on the helmet. I'll work on the weathering and the ears next.

Did a couple of the weathering effects this afternoon. Here are the white thumbprints and the "tape repair."

One ear down, one to go!

The left ear is finished as well.
Now it's down to final weathering!

Threw some stains on the dome. Boba really needs to soak his helmet in some Palmolive or something!

Here's number 70 all done!
Well, not quite. The owner will be sending a JC27 light kit to install. But it's 99 1/2% done and we can round that up to 100.
