Superjedi's MCR-ESB for Adam

Happy December!
I'm starting ESB/SE number 49! :p
This is another MCR-ESB helmet from Machinecraft Replicas. The owner isn't a member of TDH, but he's definitely put together some nice accessories for this build. In addition to the metal ears and TF rangefinder, he's also sending me an Elstree Borden replica, a real Casio MQ-1 circuit board, and a real Polaroid SX-70 viewfinder piece.
The accessories are coming in a separate package but I've got the helmet all prepped and trimmed.

Much more to come!

Received most of the accessories today. Quite a package!
We have the beautiful MCR ears:

A working Casio MQ-1 calculator, and JC27 light kit:

A Polaroid SX-70 camera:

Pretty impressive! All that's left is the TF rangefinder topper, which should be on the way very soon.
Time to do some careful surgery on some vintage gear. :)

Oh right, those too!

The surgery was successful and the needed parts were extracted.
I disassembled the Casio to get the circuit board:

Then I separated the viewfinder from the Polaroid.

And we have our genuine parts ready to go.

Doing a little interior work on this build. I have simulated the blue-gray look seen inside the original helmet with three shades.
(NOTE: This was by special arrangement with Haloax44 and is not part of my standard commissions.)

When this is dry I'll mask off the whole interior and get some primer on the exterior.

Possible maybe that the board was replaced at some point? In your picture, I don't even see a hole for the screw. Or the really small holes in the circuit board. Although your pic is a touch fuzzy.

I've picked up so much random reference over the years I really can't even say where this came from.
Lol, I can’t imagine you go through a lot of references photos, to make those sick helmets you paint.Just to add to Jango Fett Jr . I had a look myself, though the media section, on the AOSW section. It does indeed look light, the small screw is indeed missing on the original SE helmet. Here’s just a few examples.

Yeah I don’t see a hole either on mine, just a gap between the two solder points. Without knowing anything about that photo can only speculate, but I wonder if something happened when the circuit board was removed when EFX made their mould.

Was the AOSW photos, taken before or after EFX made their mould?. I have a spear circuit board, which I can try to remove the screw, to see how it compares. From what I can see on mine, there is no hole under the screw, it’s just soldered to the two connectors.

If those photos were taken in 2002, that’s how the circuit board appeared right?. Does anyone have any more recent photos, of the back board?, before the helmet was put back into the archives?.
