36. airbrush right hand side of lower right cheek with green mix from back panels, liquid mask detail.

Garret, just to know, after every layer that you apply, do you do something on it? I say that because, maybe, if you mask the painted area it will peel off...

The Humbrol enamel paints seem quite tuff ( they adhere to previous coats 100% ) so liquid mask or tape will not lift the paint between layers...

39. liquid mask silver on upper cheeks, airbrush grey no.79.

33. airbrush silver no.11
34. outline silver damage with pencil, liquid mask, airbrush grey no.27 in and around dent only, liquid mask grey 27 detail in and around dent, airbrush grey no. 79 onto dome and lower cheeks.

OK, I'm going to ask a silly question, because that's what I do best. Are you using a white pencil in this entire process? What kind of pencil is a white pencil and what kind of liquid masking do you suggest?

Thanks. The white pencil is water soluble and comes in those colour pencil sets, i find it easier to outline the detail with on the darker colours ie greys, red etc. The best liquid mask i've found is Humbrol maskol...
