My New Style Mando Armour

The soft parts, is the next thing, Im thinking Black or Olive Green... I have a black all in one, that don't look too bad. But Im going to try it also with a Green..... thx digital509.

I have now completed my Cod Armour, after cutting out the smaller sections I have now hot glued them to a piece of black fabric. Here is how it looks.....

Too tell the truth, I have not paid that much attention to Zam's outift. But Its the most functional cod I think to work with my outfit. But thanks for the intrest... Im still waiting for a few things to arrive in the post before I can have a full outfit test.... when I do I'll post some pics...

Yeah Kantis, That would be cool to hook up at some event here in the uk Sniper to Sniper..... My Ammo belt arrived today, I have modded it a little and added a holster for a pistol... Pics are before modding, will post modded later.........

Yeah JoNich, my Cod armour sure feels nice, and im not likely to run into any pain while Sniping. Im thinking of attaching the ends via elastic to keep it extra stable under the belt. I might even create a gerth underbelt... p.s I love what you have done with your Lid........

The cod piece reminds me of medieval scale mail. I like your modern twist on a Middle Ages classic. Very functional and creative both. I'm looking forward to seeing the completed costume. Is costume the right word for something this involved? Armor sounds more appropriate. 8)

Great work man! I'm torn between doing a custom Mando with a camoflage theme and doing a Boba Fett. Boba Fett is more recognizable, but accuracy and weathering challenges are drawbacks for me. I don't want to look like some schmuck in a crappy home-made costume, but I can't sink hundreds of dollars into professionally crafted helmets and accessories.

I would have to agree with you there Southern hunter, Doing a Boba is also a lot of work. There is so many things you need to get to look right. I was going to make a Boba, but thought i'd try a custom first.... thanks for your coments, and to all that coment.....

After working on the slight modding to the Ammor belt, I have take a few pics to so you... I have moved the ammor pouches round to the front of the belt, and not on the sides. That way all the pouches are within reach, and functional..... plus my holster sits on my right side just great..........

Where the Ammor belt meets in the center, I have applied to some valcro to each side to seal the two together. This way they hide the belt locking clips behind, thus making it look like one big row of ammor pouches... heres how it looks........

While I was playing with the Ammor Belt, I tried out the Cod Armour under the belt. It works better than I thought it would, and its very comfortable too, which is a good thing.... here is a pic......

Well I have now added to my Mando arsenal. I was thinking of using my scratch built rifle, but I had a slight mishap with it. I dropped it by mistake... the damage was not bad, and I have fixed it... Dropping it made me think that tho it looks good, I needed something a little stronger. So I visited a local market today and bought a replica rifle and pistol, and I will be using that to go with my outfit... While there I also picked up my side arm also.... here is some pics off the net of them... I will post some real pics in the morning......

I will be adding a better scope to the rifle, and loosing the mag. The Pistol will also feature a better scope also.... More pics too follow....

Sunday boaring sunday, nothing much to do. So I have now got a few pic of my Armour that has now been put on my vest. I have used hot glue to mount the armour in place. The first pic shows the vest and armour on a hanger, the second its on me......

I'm still waiting to get a few bit and bobs Zivilin Bane, but it won't be that long before I can say that it's a done deal. I will still keep you all updated as I get ever more closer to the finish... I'm working on the softparts, and slight modding to the new weapons.... more to updates to follow, thanks for all your intrest and kind comments.....

I now have my undersuit for my Mando. I have tried it with a black one, but I have found the green is much better. I'm now not sure about the brown pleather vest. Im thinking about using a more cooler kind of vest. I was thinking of using a fabric vest, that would breath more than pleather... well all the same, here is a pic of the undersuit with the vest on top..... what you think.. ?

nice armor, cause its camoed into your body! took me a sec to see the armor. looks like it's going well, but something is missing. its in progress so i bet the "missing" part will get filled.
Nice job, i like cloth vests. i made one and its feels nice and breathes.
