Oh wow! Ok, yeah no issues with using a dremel. So, I just want to grind away the space that the visor will occupy though, right?
Yea I get that, but not for the whole inside cheek area? Just enough for the visor to sit flush. Sorry, it’s hard to explain what I meanYou see that line that runs in the middle? You want to sand down to that line and smooth it out.
Use a dremel sander and nail files.
You can see how thin superjedi gets his mandibles!

Thanks, yea I agree. I know they’re obviously a lot sturdier than they look but I’m terrified of snapping something nowMandibles look much better!
Yeah they should be plenty sturdy. Will get better also once you put the visor in, by the looks of it the OG helmet is also a pretty thin cast. Thanks, yea I agree. I know they’re obviously a lot sturdier than they look but I’m terrified of snapping something now

I have another lineage casting as well from another maker and that one is cast like a brick and weighs about the same as a motorcycle helmet, great helmet but really really heavy. I prefer this thinner casting it's going to be much easier to troop in.
Me too! That was very much a relief.Glad to see the paint not peeling!
