I made these a long time ago and I also agree that they severely limit airflow in the helmet. You are better off getting a moisture wicking balaclava to cover your chin area.

I also made a neck seal similar to Boba’s and sewed into my flightsuit. It provides enough height that you can’t see any of my neck exposed.

I emailed Delta Leatherworks a couple of months ago. Their supplier doesn't have leather in a suitable colour.
