Howdy y'all I just joined this site not too long ago and haven't posted anything until now. I have been working my own custom Mando armor. I didnt build anything from scratch however because I don't have that skill but I am willing to learn. Everything I do have for this armor have been customized the way I would like them to look. I wanted to do something different so I converted a Series 1 Clone Trooper helmet into battle beaten Mando. I dunno if some might think this is heresy but this is something that I thought of and thought might be cool. I have most of the upper armor done, again alot of these parts (except the the mando chest armor) have been from other things, like the vest: paintbal vest, the shoulder straps: side straps from a back pack, the under jacket: Athletic Jacket, and the arm gauntlets: soccer shin guards. I don't make a lot of money so i am going by what I can afford. So let me know what y'all think.
the hasbro helmet I bought
bought a small garage sale sign and cut it to make a more accurate T-visor
Took out hasbro's tinted Visor and replaced it with a cheap plastic Cobra Commander faceplate

Began cutting along scar line and putting screen door pieces to add under armor mesh effect

Began to add on epoxy putty along scar edge to give it that melted metal effect

Then I covered up the mouth piece with more epoxy putty

After fixing the mouth piece I primed it

the 2nd layer of paint was a metalic silver and the third was a black layer i then scratched away some of the black so the metal can show through

I then finished it off by giving a blue stripe around the visor and made sure the scar looked like a lightsaber slash

So yup that is pretty much my helmet, I will post up more pics of my armor when I have time, let me know what y'all think thanks y'all.
