Various ESB Casts discussion.

Publish your info you sent to the admins then. Your dragging MF name trough the mud again but fail to mention WF who recast and rebranded it as the fugly mid way through last year. His explanation is still unanswered, after being promised in F4R's fugly paint up? Why didn't you cease and desist that back then?

That would have been difficult/impossible to prove on the initial cleaned up casts. It is only once the raw casts came to light that I was able to prove anything. WF also never publicly listed anything for sale here. If anyone is dragging MF's name through the mud it is himself. The Admins took action they deemed appropriate, so if you have a problem with the way they handled it I would recommend that you air your grievances to them.

Maybe they will share their reasoning, maybe not. But at the end of the day by your own admission your a "RECASTER " and the results of your initial actions years ago have now resurfaced and you don't seem to think you have done anything moraly wrong by the tone of your replies . You poured silicone and made a mould of an object you didn't own the rights too and made casts from that mould and should be dealt with as such. And now you strive to make a financial gain from your illicit actions using the illegal mould .

Thanks for your opinion, Elliott. Once again, I’d recommend addressing the admins if you have further concerns.

Like most things regarding lineage a lot of this information remains behind closed doors. It's obvious that MachineCraft owns a mold that allows him to generate a G2 cast and that through the administration here "rights" and "ownership" have been established. Why are there questions regarding the recasting. It's a recast. It can be traced directly to Dakota's. He did not give permission for that mold to be made.

Claiming he has an illegal mold and his actions are illicit are quite serious. Since his helmet/mold he's selling has been approved by Administration do these accusations break the COC?

regarding the Banzai helmet...
Unortunately the lighting makes it hard to see in the pictures, but I do get the feeling that the paint stripes are apparent in the back of the helmet, but not in the front.
Also, there seems to be damage in the left "eye corner" along with some scratch marks.

This leads me to putting the idea forward that maybe the crack damage has been removed?
I am not saying that I think that is the case, its just an observation and I'd like your take on the idea.

In the original thread Banzai mentioned that the person who gave him the helmet wanted to do a personal project, but gave up. Here's the thread ==> Fett from 1986.

And here's an overlay image of the Banzai and the ESB helmet (not sure who did this, but it is/was in the Banzai thread):

Edit:
The overlay was made by digifett ==> Fett from 1986.

not sure how useful that overlay image is going to be when the camera angles are different and the helmets don't actually line up all that well.

Did another overlay with a better line up of the killstripes (I distorted the image of the ESB helmet only on the vertical axes to better line up the brow and the back plate):

This is the unmodified image I used:

The whole discussion regarding the Banzai helmet was if it was a direct cast of the ESB helmet (which they used to do the ROTJ stunts) or from one of the already cast ROTJ stunt helmets.

It is a scan from a magazine, maybe one of the Star Wars Insiders, I don't remember.

The red ROTJ stunt image is a screencap from this video ==>
.

So it was made with the same rubber used for a lot of items on RotJ (Leia's bikini for example).

Here is a better picture of it being painted.
