I am trying to build Mando's Armor for myself. I plan to use it for airsoft as well as cosplay, so I need something that is going to with stand running around, laying down, kneeling, running through trees, water, tripping and falling (lets be serious here), and of course being hit by bbs travelling around 350 to 600 fps, ect. I have someone helping me start the build and do the more detail oriented parts. I am in the market to outright buy the armor as I dont have the resources to build it myself. I'm between 6mm Sintra and 1/8 PVC. I am also looking at full metal as well, and yes I know it will be heavier. Which would be better and more durable?

I bet 6mm Sintra would be able to withstand the airsoft rounds. I've made armor from 10mm sintra before and it is super stout stuff! Its especially tough i bet if the rounds are hitting a convex surface!
