Superjedi's FPH2 ESB for JCFett

Killstripes are on.
Here are the prep steps.

First, everything is taped off. I use Winsor and Newton masking fluid to make the small chips.



I use plastic wrap to protect the helmet.



Then I airbrush the yellow, and mist the back stripes with a little bit of orange.



Looks like a big mess! But once everything is unmasked, we wind up with our familiar stripes.



Now I can work on the damage between the stripes.

I finished the remaining detail on the left side of the dome.



I also laid down the dark color on the outer cheeks.



I'll start detailing the cheeks tomorrow.

Had a little bit of time while the cheeks are drying, so I did some ear work.

Thanks. The green is so tricky. It always looks a little lighter in pics than it does by eye.
The final wash and weathering will change the tone slightly, too.

Got the red on! This really starts to change the appearance. This stage involves the most complex masking of the entire project, but it's worth it.
