I started the damage on the back of the dome. There are some nice fine scratches back there, but not as many as on the SE.

Scritchy scratchy time! I really enjoy painting the cat scratch. It's a relatively small area, but it's got a lot of detail and it's such a distinctive feature of the ESB bucket.

Smallish update for today: the turn signal area.
But the dent will be next!

I think this and the cat scratch are the two defining features of the ESB dome.

I finished the damage on the top area of the dome. There's actually quite a bit going on up there!

Alright, time for some stripeage!
Everything was measured and masked and airbrushed and voila! 13 wonderful killstripes.
Wait, 15? How many dang killstripes are there on the ESB lid anyway?!
These were done using Archive-X SP Armour Yellow and the darker tone on the rear stripes was done with vintage Polly Scale SP Scarlet.

With the killstripes in place, I was able to finish the remaining details on the dome.

Short update for today. I laid in the dark color on the upper cheeks.

I finished the right cheek this afternoon. There's a relatively small amount of damage on this side.

The helmet is now 100% cheeky!
