Latest Consensus on ESB Flame Thrower

I am constructing the flame thrower from scratch and noticed there are several variants on flame thrower tips as well as the back plate.

For the back plate I have seen straight/flat & chrome, others with a chrome back plate but a black offset or shelf, and others with the chrome plate having some bends to it.

Some flamethrower tips, some are clear and others are metal.

RKD sells/sold what I believe is the most accurate ESB flamethrower out there. His thread shows his research on the various parts too. That's probably a good place to start.
