Hello Fetts!! Yesterday for May the 4th I went on a troop to Galveston, Texas A&M University with my friend Tyler. There were a lot of activities for us to do. We took photos with students and staff. The students even had a killer green screen setup for us to take pictures with! Check them out!!

Today for Revenge of the 5th I went to a troop in Spring, TX for a Make-A-Wish kid. He was older than we all expected and he just did his first round of Kemo so he wasn't feeling very good. Here are some photos from today!

Hahaha! Some great pics. I also went to a "May the 4th" 501st event in my full ROTJ Fett. There were two Stormtroopers and Shadow Trooper there. Sadly, I didn't get any pics. But they welcomed me as if I was one of their own. Before the event I showed up at my daughters school with it on, and as expected everyone went nuts!
So.....tell me is that "Silent Bob" in those last two photos? (From Post #324)

Oh....man, a brave soul you are! Can you imagine if you fell backwards, landed on your back and shattered your Jet Pack? (Or broke other things on your kit?) I'm not sure I woulda recovered.

Lol yes I've put abunch of money into my kit and I was nervous riding in it but I've been riding those boards for 2 years already so I'm pretty used to it. It still made for some good videos

What up fetts! I went on a troop yesterday to the Missouri City, Tx art festival. The art was awesome but expensive lol. They had a death star backdrop for us to use. Check it out!!
This was the producer of the whole exhibit...Dandee Warhol. He is a huge fan of Boba Fett!
The Ivy family joined me for this troop. That Boba portrait behind me was $500!

Yesterday I went on a big troop to the Houston Astros game for Star Wars night! There definitely were a lot of people to take pictures with thats for sure! Enjoy!!
Here's the group I was with. In total there were 20 troopers spread out.

They hire special needs as custodians to give them a job and make them part of the workforce...very cool!

It was a fun troop. I'm alittle bummed we didn't get to go down on the field like all the previous Star Wars nights. Other than my back was hurting from my jetpack. Sitting still for almost 5 hours was a challenge but it was an awesome time! See yall next troop!!

Such an awesome time was had I'm sure! The 501st Garrison Titan here in WA has a similar "Star Wars Night" with the Seattle Mariners too. I was talking with the GWL who is helping me with my daughters costume, and she said it was one and done for her. Her and her husband are super/mega Star Wars fans so the 501st seems like a great fit for both of them. They are both in their mid-50's and she went a Boushh that night. Well, apparently there was an incident where she found herself around many drunk folks and one guy thought it'd be funny to jump on her back and go for a ride. Obviously.....not cool. That incident caused her back to blow out and knees too. She had to sit on the ground for about 45 mins before she was able to get helped up - too much pain.
I know not all troops are like that - but something to be wary of. Again, certainly looks like you had a great time! Also that Stormtrooper is super tall!
I can imagine that 5 hours of that is torture. Even the 3-Hour Unofficial Troop I did on May the 4th was taxing, only thing you can do is maintain discipline and suck it up. Hahaha! I'm 46 now, but I can recall doing a "Ruck March" in the US Army, 12 miles, 50lb backpack and you need to have it completed in 3-hours! No way I can do that now, I'm confident I wouldn't even be able to pass an Army PT Test today - Hahaha! I did start P90X this week though!
