Inside helmet

Hi Guys

This has probably been asked a million times but...

My lid needs some padding etc inside to stop it wobbling around and to make it comfy to wear, what suggestions do people have and what is inside your lids.

I have a big head so not much room either.

I used military kevlar pads and some stick on velcro, worked really well, and still room for the head.

I do the same thing as AMBrown check the bay for Skydex.

I used foam easy cheap if cut out right it's replaceable

I use a helmet band from an old M1 helmet and mounted it on to a hard hat rim that i cut to fit inside the helmet... I like the look of the leather from the M1, and it gives a good adjustable snug fit...

My friend just used some cheap helmet padding he got at academy and velcroed it in.

I went a little different route lol working electronics exposed to give it a touch of realism. The top pad is just a round chunk of open cell foam sewn into a pocket with velcro to hold it in place. Around the back is some craft foam pieces and part of an interior kit by Marrow Sun
