Got my new helmet, sized down to a more accurate size. Grogu approves.

Finally got to weathering the flight suit and cape. Airbrushed a mix of gray, brown, and yellow ochre.

Was able to spray the gloss finish using the Spraymax 2K. A few spots to touch up and ran outta clear for the gauntlets. So I'll knock those out Tuesday when more of the rattle cans come in. Then I'll chrome later this week

The chrome on that dome though?? Still need to clear coat it. Once that's done and cured, I can install the ears and visor and finish the paint accents on the ears and will be time to weather all the pieces

That weathering looks phenomenal man! What’s your strategy for weathering with oils?
I followed Jackson Rupert, an incredible artist. He's got a YouTube video that documents his process. I used two colors, raw umber and burnt sienna.i mixed with naphtha (solvent that can be found at the hardware store) and brushed over the entire piece coating everything. Then wiped off the excess by pouncing at it with a rag, and blotted with a chip brush to create the grime effect
