Ear Cap Attachment Method

Hey guys,

I'm wondering about successful attachment methods for the ear cap over the rangefinder. I would like it to be removable, yet secure. I tried a number of different searches, but all came back fruitless.

My helmet and cap have small posts and holes that kind of lock it into place, but I wouldn't trust it to remain solid during use. Any recommendations?

I use small rare earth magnets set into the lid and cap. Strong enough to hold the cap on, but still removable when required.

I bought a bunch of rare earth magnets for my armor attachment, so I'll just reallocate some for this purpose as well.

I used Chicago screws to attach my ears
