My cape and braids arrived today from TunaFett57!

The cape still needs to be cut up and weathered, but it is the US half-tent found part.

I highly recommend you hit up Tuna for your braids and cape. He is very communicative, and his attention to detail is impeccable.

I thought to do a separate thread from the one with the discussion about the cape having seams or not (read more here ==> ESB Cape Appears to Have Seams) and to post here my interpretation of the ESB cape and its measurements.



The PNG image is a hi-res image of the cape template and gives an excellent overall view, while the third image is a compilation of ESB stills that were used to achieve the cape's color.

I did the templates using my measuring method to achieve some close values regarding the main parts of the cape, which are the...

Initially, I didn't plan on getting the found part. If I had gotten the replica, I was going to cut it up myself. But given that it is the found part, I may reach out to someone more experienced to cut it; I do not want to mess it up. Or I will find some fabric to cut up and practice on, I haven't fully decided yet.

The cape already shows signs of wear from use; it may need more, though.
