Bro, what is your scedule like for doing a set of machined ears in febuary or march???
I am nolonger going to be assisting FP on his MSH2 but I am ebarking on my own helmet journey soon. If only to have a set for my self I am willing to pay you for your time.
I am going to talk to Lee and see if he is gung ho about me giving you measurments based off his "Accurate Earcaps" and have that be the basis. He seemse very open to that but dosnt want to mess with offering them him self. Let me know your thoughts and I will talk with him further.
My helmet I am doing a rework on is a mystery... the same that FP used as his basis for his MSH2. I want to come up with a fantastic and accurate ROTJ and ESB meening they will have the gouges allready in them, accurate ears... dent... (as the ROTJ is differnt then the ESB dent) and so on. Braks seems fine with offering these when there done as long as I am honest with the board that they are from a reworked mystery but I dont know that I want to be a full time helmet maker. I do however want to make them for my self and have them sport true metal earcaps.

This is what mine looks like as of now in fiberglass:
It started small, but has since started to break away all the way around the outer edge. I am looking forward to the aluminum caps, not just to repair mine, but to improve the look and quality! Thanks again Tim!:cheers

Sadly we cant base them off of the Lee/SS project but those measurments wouldnt fit the now available helmets any how. I will take measurements off the current couple of sets I have access to for PSberetta and sent them his way... lets see where this goes. The most common of course would be the SgFang Mystery earcaps so something that would fit that helmet but accurate shape and all that jazz! Same with the MS and possibly the MSH helmets.

Tim...have you thought of doing a pair of movie accurate JP brackets for the harness attachment? With the help of Dustin Crops Boy a number of years ago I pounded out a set in metal for my previous Fett, I would like to avoid doing it again for my current Fett. Any help?
