Well actually once I'm satisfied with the helmet's shape I will first cast it, and then paint the copies. I don't know if I will paint this helmet itself, but we'll see
Sort of. The E stands for my last name, Erickson, and the P is for Props. So Erickson Props. I'm still trying to think of a better logo, so if anyone has an idea please PM me or whatever. It'd be great to get some feedback
Actually, no, I used Rafalfett's templates for this one. Rafalfett's templates have incorporated the asymmetry and wonkiness of the original Fett helmet better, (WOF's are actually completely symmetric) and so to be better accurate I have used his.

I'm not sure, but if you scale the templates I'm sure you can get one to fit well. The original Fett bucket is actually relatively large, so perhaps you scaled the WOF templates too small?
I also have a fat head. I tried doing the paper model from pepakura vault . com but it was about 1 inch shorter on all sides from Rafalfett's template (Shapeways says his model is W: 24.48cm, H: 25.66cm, and Depth 27.9 cm. Could anyone make a Pepakura file from Rafalfett's design and bump up the template about an inch (+~3 cm)? I figure 1 more inch would be safe for most head types lol. I'd really appreciate it! Also... Star Wars 7!!
I don't have any pepakura experience, but I imagine if you modded Raf's templates (or WOF's for that matter) to make the dome taller it would work rather simply. Also you may be surprised how large a Fett bucket is, and there may be no need to modify the templates at all. Good luck!
And bondo. I did it towards late evening, so by the time I was done it was dark and so I used a flashlight, which is why the pics looks so weird. Sorry!
