I'm from Europe, I'll start making my costume Zam Wesell, I have pieces: helmet, boots, chest piece, etc.



I'm looking for the ideal neoprene fabric to make clothing. I found this fabric and I would like that you tell me if you find the right fabric for clothing Zam (seems neoprene). In the photo looks a darker color .




Do you think you about this color ? and about the type of fabric? (the fabric is similar to neoprene)

I think the color is very similar, the fabric is neoprene, are two sheets of lycra and inside a thin foam layer (2 mm or about 0.08 inches). I think it's a fabric that are made ​​specifically for this costume. I think the foam to sew stitches be cut, as it is very thin and is not neoprene.


Actually I do not know any place to buy the neoprene clothing Zam, neoprene with the correct color is hard to find.

Hi again, I've started with greeblies.

I have modeled the bottle of poison with plasticine, I made a silicone molde and I got a copy with resin.

Those are very nice... Don't know about the scale (Can't compare them to anything). I've been continually surprised at how talented so many TDH members are.

Re: the fabric -it looks a bit dark and blueish - but it could be the light. When I saw the original costume in Los Angeles, I was very surprised at how grayed it was. I really think it is pretty close to impossible to get the EXACT color of the costume 1) it has aged over the years 2) lighting is everything. My own opinion is that it is best to pick a color you like for the fabric (close to the color of the costume of course) and then base the rest of the colors of the costume off of that... It will then look "right" in pictures and to everyone's eye.

Thanks for your tips MaulMaus. It's actually very difficult to find the right fabric Zam. I've never seen the original suit. According to your opinion, do you consider that the suit is more gray than purple? rose - pink pale?

I have to buy the leather strap and make holes . But I dont know whats has to be thick leather strap to make the perfect skirt.
Can anyone tell me what should be the thickness?

Hi beyora, thanks for the compliment. The pants have been made by my seamstress. I sew a little, but the pants need to be very well sewn and lots perfection and I wouldn´t do as well as a seamstress.
