TDH's own Celebration 5 ESB Fett Helmet (Updated 07/11/2010)

With Celebration V just around the corner... I was recently asked by the Administration to help donate a Boba Fett Empire Strikes Back paint job and display for The Dented Helmet table that will be CV. I was more than happy to lend a hand for the board that has given me so much.

I thought it would be best to share a progress thread, as I'm on a one month time crunch, I figured this thread will help me complete the project as well. This will only be a half Mannequin display at CV, so the upper torso is all that will be completed.

Fettpride has graciously donated a Premium format MR Prototype Fett helmet... the best of the best IMO...Thanks FP. Darthmiller will be completing the armor, and starting a separate thread, and the Administration will be donating purchased pieces to complete this project...

Recieved the FP Premium format helmet last week, and attached the ears... next up the visor install.

Combo of both... would love to complete it all layered, but I only have a month.. ugh.
I think the results will be the same... with more control on exact details.

This has been forever in the making (mostly because I have dropped the ball) but I just want to take the opportunity to openly thank Alex, Chris, and Jason for really stepping up and helping us out with this project! I am really looking forward to seeing it come to life!

Been a tad busy painting in the last 24hours..

I managed to get the back base colors down. I used the layered method on the back, took some time, but I think it came out great...just need the detail work, I'll save that for the end though...sorry for the bad pics.
