More of the final details in progress.
I drilled out the molded-in Borden and replaced it with a machined aluminum piece from Machinecraft Replicas. It's a pretty easy little upgrade!
I weather the Borden by applying a muddy looking acrylic wash to "age" it, then apply some silver chipping.

I thought the borden from MCR was made of stainless steel. Did they start producing them in aluminum too?

Um... maybe it is stainless. I can't remember off the top of my head.
