UPDATE: DAY 10
Had a little more time than I thought this afternoon, so I managed to get the rest of the right panel done. I always forget
there's a good amount of detail in the lower right portion of the panel. Here are a few angles.
I'll be doing some weathering with pastels once all the "basic" paintwork is done, so there will be just a bit more weathering
on some of these areas. Pastels are usually my last step before the final clearcoat. I like working with pastels as you can get
some nice subtle effects, but they have to be sealed or they'll smudge when the helmet is handled.
With the rear panels done, this sets me up to do the base color on the dome and inner cheeks!
The helmet will really
begin to change appearance once that primer gray is mostly gone.
