I got the red airbrushed on yesterday afternoon. Lots of masking for this stage!



Today I started on the damage with the keyslot area.



I'll be working on the red band next.

I finished up the red band behind the ear platforms. Lots of juicy detail!



I'll start working on the front parts next. Gotta psyche myself up for the mandibles, lol.

I like to break the right mandible into upper and lower portions. Here are a couple of shots of the upper portion.

Thanks! I completed the right mandible, which finishes the "basic" painting. Here are a couple of shots.



Detailing continues with the addition of the pale contrasting gray that's found scattered around the helmet.



I'll be working on the ears this week.

Got the ear arch airbrushed on yesterday. I like to give it a minimum of 48 hours to dry before I tape it off for the white part.

Ear work continues. Got the white parts airbrushed on this afternoon.
