I threw a color coat on the RF ear parts before diving into the red.

Alright, here it is... red!
This changes the whole look of the helmet.

I started the damage on the red areas where I usually do, on the keyslots. I'll start on the band next.

Finished the middle part of the red band.

Here's the left side of the red band. I'll add the white thumbprints at some point.

The right side of the band is finished. Moving around to the front next!

I finished the area around the left corner of the visor.

Here's the left side of the brow area. I'll work on the right side next, and then start the mandibles this weekend!

I'm done with the right side of the brow. Mandibles are next!

I finished the left mandible. Now Fett has half a face!

Here's the crazy upper part of the right mandible. Whew!
As per usual, I'm including a collage showing the detail being built up using the topical technique.

Next steps will be to work on the ears and do some weathering.

I had previously laid down the color coats on the ears, and detailing is well underway.

Doing final fit checks for the accessories. Everything's looking good! Next update will show the completed helmet.

Well, helmet number 69 is finished!
The FPH2 builds up into a great looking ESB lid. This one came with resin ears and RF topper, an aluminum RF stalk, and an aluminum Borden.
