Hi all,
Back at the beginning again, lol. I'm starting another Wasted Fett FPH2 kit for member Boba87Fett. This one includes a set of machined aluminum ears from Machinecraft Replicas, a real Casio circuit board, and a Terminalfettler RF topper. Really cool gear!
Prep had been started before the helmet made its way to me, and I'll check everything over before starting any paintwork.

Good deal! Here's some more progress...

I sprayed a fresh coat of primer yesterday to even things out, and got the first color coat on this afternoon.



Tomorrow I'll be able to start masking for the dark green.

Man or machine he starts again , this is the way.

Rear panels were masked and airbrushed with dark green. Here are the major shapes.



I'll go back with a fine brush to tweak the shapes a bit and add the smaller details.

Finished the right panel as well. Whew! Lots of tiny details in the big scrape.

Let's cover all that gray primer! Getting the green on the dome really changes the look of things.

Adding the damage on the dome now. The back of the dome is a lot of fun to do with all the tiny scratches.

Here are a couple of views of the cat scratch. It's my second favorite feature on the helmet.

Finally some color! I got the killstripes on this afternoon. It's a decent amount of masking but it's worth it!

The dome is finished.

Things got very cheeky today.

Let's get some red on! Now it's really starting to look like Fett.

Started the damage on the red areas. For these areas I get to add a third color--a dark purple/maroon.

Also did the center section of the band.
