Hi gang! Left gauntlet is done. The base color is the same as the dome on the bucket. I was going to throw on some fake buttons and switches but I think i'm going to leave it as is. I kind of like it's simple look. This started as a Ruffkintoy kit and I made a few......modifications.

I'm curious as to how you made the small dents in the armor? They look just as good as the rust. Sort of like you've been hit with a slugthrower.

Thanks! I used a Dremmel tool very high speed with a coarse sanding drum on the tip. Just sort of played with it until I got the look I wanted.

Well done, vode! Personally, I find the weathering step to be the most rewarding of a build, and I have definitely learned a thing or two here. Thanks for the tutorial. Can't wait to see the finished armor.

These pieces look fabulous ! It's all in the weathering, and you nailed it

When I saw the knees I thought to myself that you'd be great at weathering a sandtrooper ! It would be nice if you could throw a few tutorials and tips their direction as I've seen a few that although I'm sure the heart was in it, it didn't translate well at all unfortunately :(

Just awesome ! Oh, and dig the avatar too

Thanks FP! I know I have not updated this in a while but real life caught up to me. I did however receive the custom flak vest from Deb (ladysewforus) and it is a BEAUTY! As soon as I can get it's owner to my house to try it on:rolleyes, I will be attatching the armor.
