It was coated with 2 layers of high gloss black, then a gold layer followed by the chrome. All acryllics. Then a mist layer of high gloss varnish to protect the chrome. This layer was pu based. It downed the mirror effect somewhat but I can live with this. After it has hardened out I might polish it a bit.

The weathering was a hand mix of brown and black acryllics dry-brushed on. Then a mist layer of matt black to finish it

When I saw the Hasbro Fett helmets I loved them right away. I think they are a good value for their price tag and with some work can be made into great props. I wanted to make a Mando diorama with atleast the helmet. Anyways.... half way through modding the white Hasbro bucket I saw they'll be releasing Mando's june 21 XD still... it was a nice build and I might pick up on the Hasbro Mando bucket aswell. Made a better attachement for the shoulder armor that really keep them in place nice and tight.

i was having a real issue with my right shoulder feeling loose on haloween. ive just got velcro right now. what kind of system did use? didnt see it in your earlier posts, might have just missed it perhaps.

I'll snap some pics tomorrow and upload them here. Maybe they'll be helpful. Not sure it's 501st approved, but I tend to forgo certain details sometimes in favor of a snugfit and/or avoid parts from shifting.

What a time we live in. During the Holidays we heard of mr. Bulloch's passing. It was a strange moment. I have only met him a couple of times but I remember driving out to a convention as a kid with my dad to meet the man himself. I was so nervous! After a few years I was able to meet him again in full armor. I'm now watching Star Wars witj my own kids and when I heard of mr. Bulloch's passing it just really hit something. Time flies and nothing lasts forever. It's so cliché but it's true. Anyways, combined with the ending of Mando s2 and the Book of Boba Fett coming this year, well.... the legacy continues and it is a good year to be a Star Wars / Fett fan.

So... let's continue to enjoy the fun while we can!

As of yet I am completely lost on where wich version of Boba should go in wich category o the forum. But... It's the 29th.

Editted my white pre pro black series helmet and went for a: if you repaint this thing the Sarlacc acid will do a number on the paint next to the all ready present scratches kind of look. Meaning... I wanted the rotj scratches to subtly be visible. And. It's the 29th... Made this drawing nearly a year ago OD
