I bought one early 2009 I think it was. It wouldn't fit in my FP toper, but I was able to get a topper made that will hold the board. It works great. The battery should last quite a while, unless you walk around all day with the RF in the down position. Another tip: when you store the helmet or put it in your storage tote, make sure that the helmet or the stalk can't move into the active position. Your battery life should last a very long time.

It's very handy having it self contained.
