"Paint by numbers" Humbrol Visual Guide - ESB & ROTJ Helmet & ESB Armor

Cool. I figured you found it somewhere but I didn't know where to look to see what the results looked like.





upon inspection that is an armor paint up. The armor and helmet are different colors. I would probably not recommend that combo of colors unless it has been shown to match up to the helmet colors........

Again i have used the supreme stencils by Rafalfett and color info compiled from snippets around TDH

This Paintjob can be considered more intens than the ESB one in my opinion, take a look at the ROTJ paint threads before starting and study the ROTJ images in the Gallery !

This one was compiled from Jayvee's ROTJ paintup as-well as Terminal Fettler's color list.
The Image was borrowed from Rafalfett's ROTJ Stencils.
Thanks to everyone who contributed on this especially when trying to located the right Red humbrol combo for the mandibles.

Is there a ROTJ Body Humbrol colour guide ? looking for CNW Green in humbrol, just realised i ordered all my paints based on the ESB colour scheme (i realise some colours overlap and others not needed)
 
I was on the humbrol site and says that there is no Green 159, maybe I'm misreading that color. Can you give me a suggestion on a different green to mix with Green 78?

I was, in fact looking at that one lol. Ok, well here's the thing I'm actually looking to do a ROTJ helmet. So really I derailed all of this. Super sorry about that man.

I I appreciate your help though. I'm pretty sure I'm getting in over my head on this but I really want to give it a shot.

Looks great man! I think you may have swayed me back towards ESB. You wouldn't happen to know anyway selling a blank one would you? I contacted Fettpride on Facebook and haven't heard back from him. I figure he gets a ton of messages.

Absolutely LOVE this thread! I'm about to embark on painting my ESB Fett and really had no idea where to begin. Major referred me to this thread. I can't say "Thank you" enough!
 
I did notice that there occasionally seems to be a bit of confusion between the ESB and ROTJ schemes as followers think they are looking at one while they are actually looking at the other by accident. You might want to create two separate threads, one solely for ESB and the other strictly ROTJ. Just a thought.

One question, Has anyone tried using the Humbrol Metalcote sprays for the exposed metal?
