When you make a statement like "I know for a fact" then you BETTER have been there or you BETTER have picture proof if you weren't. I know I probably seem a bit sensitive about this kind of thing and I won't apologize for it. I AM sensitive about it because I have seen a TON of BS become accepted as truth just because someone said it was true and then YEARS later we find out it wasn't and we based many things off that "truth". This board is about the spread of INFORMATION not misinformation. Anyone who has studied Fett in even the SLIGHTEST could atest that the suits at MoM and AoSW are real, not copies yet OFM has EMPHATICALLY stated that they are not real. I call BS because it IS BS and easily proveable. If you are going to make some huge statement you need to be prepared to back up your claim. It is as simple as that.

I guess when he said this statement in a past bucket thread.....
People remember when someone makes a statement like that
(I DID!) and now he says he has the facts on something by "those who should know" but then he won't/can't proove it and still calls it a FACT..?...
That dosn't make him look exactly too credible now does it.?.

It's unfortunate when it comes down to this, but it's REALLY easy to post a pic, and could have been prevented with a picture. I have heard rumors, made assumptions, looked in all the wrong places, and actually found a couple of things myself (Things that I haven't posted 
) But I wouldn't feel comfortable trying to make a claim without proof. Then if I were going to sell something, I wouldn't want to sell it without showing a picture. We are all a cooperative grope, I know we all can't have image hosting sites, but we help each other and host pics for others when we can. This could have been a great opportunity for us, but turned out to be a dud.

You can find mohair girth belts quite easily at most tack and feed shops, normally for around $20 or so.

If anyone would like to see pictures/price of the custom-fitted girthbelt that we make,pm us.............genuine only,please,and anyone looking for an argument can go elsewhere....not interested,ok?
Total accuracy is not our aim,making a good fett costume is.........
Simple as that........
Understand that we are not obsessed with making the definitive fett........just a good replica of the costume.............our time is taken up mostly with making greek and roman armour for the costume hire industry now,but we still make custom fett items,mostly to private clients.
We still have about 50 of the belts in stock,ready to be custom fitted,so if you would like to see the belt finished,just pm us.
My dad has let me kind of "take over" things for a while,as i'm deferring my 1st year in college,and dad's still pretty sick from his latest operation,so it's business as usual,so to speak.
And just FYI,we have never sold anything on this site as far as I know,our business is mostly to ppl not members of tdh,but clients sourced elsewhere.
I know my dad has given away on the tdh site parts of items to ppl that need a part,or have lost parts,(and paid for the postage too,with no thanks or even a thankyou very much).....but selling here?........no..........it's not a big part of our business at all.....
I am the Fett fan here,NOT my daddy.........so willya give the old man a break?

Your DUD is almost finished being re-sewn and goes in the mail tomorrow morning..................I hope the guys that ARE recieving one of these belts will be more than happy with a vintage(30+ years old stock)custom fitted belt.
In fact,these custom fitted belts will now be officially known as 'DUD'S'.
