I finally finished my new EE-3! I'm very pleased with the result. I'll be refining the paint soon, but otherwise it's done.
Recipe:
- Traywick Designs 3D printed Webley flare gun
- Cheap scope off eBay (probably will upgrade eventually)
- scope mounts/rings/Molex connectors from Sidewinder
- Roman's MPP flash tube
- Greeblie set (Revell V8 arm recast, mystery disk, recast Unimax switches and AM plugs) from Neo Prop Shop
- Lanyard rings and swivel studs kitbashed from Amazon
- Rifle sling from Hobby Lobby... or Marshall's... or Joann Fabrics (RIP). I can't remember lol. It's the one i made for my previous EE-3.
Speaking of, look how small my first rifle is. I'm so glad to have this upgrade. Even if it is incredibly front heavy lol.
Side note: the 3D printed Webley barrel was thicker than I anticipated. So, the inner diameter was too small for the flash tube. I still don't own a Dremel, so I had to sand the ever-loving hell out of the inner barrel. Holy God, I'm glad that's over.
