Man of War Studios Jet Pack Kit

I'm glad I made it under the wire, though I had hopes to order an original down the road. Can't wait for the next projects (and my arena pack to arrive)!

I know this thread has basically reached its end, but I wanted to publicly address my business with MOW and the excellent service he provides. I had ordered an arena jet pack and when it arrived it was deformed from something neither of us could explain. I notified Christian of the problem, sent pictures, and he asked for it returned. The replacement was in excellent shape and I am extremely happy with his dedication to a great piece of kit. It is refreshing to have someone take pride in what they do and what they provide for others. Christian, my hats off to you!:cheers

So i'm just starting out. I already have some gauntlets and knees and i'm now looking ito a jetpack. I saw alot of info about manofwar jetpacks. Are these also casted from the don post boba fett statue like his gauntlets and such? they look pretty good.

do you airbrush it? I was thinking that would be a good way to paint it but the main parts look too big to use an airbrush with.

masking tape, brother...=) to do the damage you have to decide if you are going topical application, or layered application...i painted that jetpack with rattlecan spray paints...i painted the whole thing green, then went back and did the other colors topically....kind of tough to that with the ROTJ jetpack...much more involved with those...ESB is pretty straight foward...

I'm looking for either an arena jetpack, or the classic one for my Jango Fett build. Does anyone know where I could get a kit or something for less than $300? I found this one place, Golden Armor, DreamScheme Studios - ITEMS FOR SALE, and they have a classic kit for $195 plus $25 shipping. It looks pretty legit and sturdy, I think. Anyone have any other places I could find one? Has anyone gotten a jetpack from these guys? ANy info at all would help. I would love to get a manofwar jetpack. Those are some insane pieces. I just don't think I can afford it. Thanks.

Save a little more and spend on a piece of kit thats gonna last. Its also more accurate than that one you just posted. You'll see what I mean after looking at the two closely and being on the forum for a while. Just relax and wait a while before you start blowing your hard earned money. Takes a LONG time to build a quality costume

PLEASE follow Fett 4 Real's advice, and spend a bit more $$ for a TON more quality.

Yeah, the jetpack is the last item on my list. I'm in no real hurry. "It only costs a little more to go first class", as my Grandfather used to say. Yeah....I guess just save up for one? And from what I've been seeing/hearing, manofwar has the best.

Yeah I'm definitely going to check out the cargo hold. If anyone has a decent, used jetpack, please let me know. Thanks
