Good call...Yes, your right. I should have specified that. I was referring to the center detail. The side details were a complete sculpt on my part. I had no time to locate those plugs in the final moments leading up to the JB project unveiling. Do you have a supplier I can contact on those babies ?

no supplier yet. i only read about this piece about 2 weeks ago. it was listed under the han solo hoth scanner at that site and it was mentioned that Bobas ESB blaster uses the same "split-plugs" as they called them. I then began searching the net and all kind of electronic stores and only came up with a new design which would not match those used. i think there was also an earlier thread at tdh.com were one member said he found a bunch in italy. partsofsw.com says that those were used in the 70's/80's. i spoke to a electronic expert and he said those were indeed used for antennas, a very old way to connect them to a receiver.
it's basically a folded open connector.

Hey Guys,

I thought this thread had died but I see it's come to life again..I need to share this with you all. It came to my attention a while back that this entire greeblie set is a bit larger than the actual movie prop. Let me explain:

When I was making the models for this set I never actually owned a plug detail and was forced to make it from scratch. Not knowing the actual scale it seems I made it a bit larger than the movie version which really sucks !

If any of you own separate plug details and are thinking of using just my center box detail it won't work...scale is off. It's the whole enchilada or nothing I suppose..
