Alrighty guys, been tryin to keep from broadcasting this stuff for a few reasons.. but seein as how you've been waiting forever, thought you deserved to hear it.

I had wanted to have the grommets installed and shipment started yesyerday. On Tuesday or Wednesday of last week I started experiencing some pain in my abdomen and lower back. I tried to ignore it and thought I just had an upset stomach. I ignored it as best I could and even trooped (in alot of pain) as a TK on Saturday. By Saturday night, the pain was almost unbearable and I started urinating blood (TMI, yet?). Mary essentially forced me to go to the ER. They did a CT scan on me, introduced an IV, took some blood for lab tests, and gave me pain meds. I was let loose from the ER at 8am Sunday morning. The Dr told me that I was definitely passing a 5mm kidney stone and that pending lab results (which I should have by the end of the week) he was concerned about the possibility prostate cancer, which would explain why someone who never gets sick has been sick every time I turn around it seems. I've been on pain meds that have had me floored. I passed the stone today and the pain is at a manageable level so that I think I can lay off the meds so I am coherent enough to get these done and on their way. I know a few of you really need these for troops the first week of May and I am trying my best to get you guys stuff out ASAP. I sincerely apologize fro the inconvenience and truly appreciate how patient and understanding you all have been.

Thanks, guys. Unfortunately, this is not my first stone. At one point I was passing 2-4 a month for almost 2 years. It had been awhile since my last bout with these, and this pain was more intense and centered differently, so I didnt think thats what it was. As for the big C, I'm not really scared or worried. Mary is a wreck, but I've also ridden in that rodeo before, as well. So, I figure if thats what life needs to hand me next, then thats what it hands me and I can hack it. I only worry about it inconveniencing others. But, hopefully, the tests will come back clean, and I wont have to deal with it. :)

Derek..... all I can say is "Thank you, bruv. Very much." :)

No problem. Stress, too much protein, caffeine, or dairy and a pre-disposition are common causes.

Hopefully it will be a one and done, and not just the begining. If your still taking orders I'd be intrested in picking up a RoTJ 38.

Have a good one,
