I guess I should expand on this, I'm currently in the north Texas area, I'm a father of 3 kids, my wife is just as nerdy if not more so than I am.

I've started work on my first ever scratch build helmet, from plans I got on this site. Hopefully they turn out half as decent as some I've seen on this board. I have little experience with screen accurate prop builds, but I've built costumes before.

My hobbies are pretty ecclectic. I have a background in independent movie production, 2D and 3D art and animation, I attended Texas State Technical College for digital media, and I'm currently serving in the Air Force. I've always been enthusiastic about movies ever since I can remember. My dad and my best friend turned me on to Star Wars when I was about 6 or 7 and I was drawn to the story and the effects ever since.
