Ok so I'm officially teased. Not feeling the lightsaber if I'm honest and it's design makes no sense. The sad thing is that this time next year I will STILL be waiting to see it!

the trailer gave me goose bumps...so it did it's job well! That chunky speeder bike thing looks awesome, can't wait to model it. light saber ditto, strange thing also the beam should be clean and sharp not a jagged edge.

Definitely nice to see tech still evolving. I hated the way they were just throwing every old McQuarrie design into Rebels and was hoping that wouldn't be the case with the movies but I like what I see so far.

My favorite part was the Stormtrooper pre-deployment shot. I know many movies have done similar things but seeing it with Stormtroopers was pretty bad-ass.

I'm crazy excited. The effects look MINT and not overly CGI.

My thought on the lightsaber: I always thought lightsabers were individual preferences - so they really could be any kind of design. The addition of the smaller blades seems to me like something that a fencer would have to block his hand from a blade, and perry. Just a thought.

Everything else though....holy schnitzel....so good. I've watched it so many times, and will continue to anytime I need a pick me up

JJ isn't doing EP8 and EP9 right? I'm almost disappointed in that already. lol. I hope everything else has that consistency in style.

I thought the trailer was mehhh still not liking the title and i still think the new trooper armor is FUGLY so far i'll stick with prequel OT and some EU costumes

I love it. All of it. Even the light saber that doesn't quite look safe for the operator. Even the stupid rolling droid.

After viewing it 40 or so more times, I'm actually digging the lightsaber now. I LOVE the way the Sith (perhaps?) is walking. The gait is intense and really makes him/her seem wildly dangerous. I can't wait for the subsequent teasers and trailers. Such a great day to be a Star Wars fan.

I think the scuttlebutt is that particular lightsaber is actually an ancient Sith artifact and thus why it looks different than the newer lightsabers we're used to. The pommel "blades" actually look more like some sort of exhaust or venting to me.

That may be why he's panicking! Maybe he is someone that doesn't want to be found!
