HI FROM UK, England, Doncaster.
Is there a better way to buy or make Fetts boots rather than pay STUPID money for a set of boots. £150 to £250 is ridiculous when you consider the CHEAP material the originals and even now days are made from JUSTIFIES the silly prices. It seems put Fett & STAR WARS to a boot and suddenly let's charge STUPID COSTS. ..or are they just gonna be silly lol hehehe.

If you're going a cheap route and not looking for a great deal of authenticity, look for some chelsea boots. You will need to do some extra work on them but it might cost less than $100.

I'm thinking the angle toed version by MOW was in the £120 - 140 region when he first did them, maybe 2013 time? So, always fairly pricey. The rounded toe slightly less.
These later offerings appear much the same product as his and possibly the same factory, however; I'm guessing that in order to make this work you need to tie up a fair chunk of capital in stock sat around.

I suggest you reading this thread: New to TDH? Read this about how much you will spend!

This was around 2007. For example, helmets nowadays go for 250-500$. That's without metal ears, greeblies or paintjob. A full accurate helmet (painted, real mq-1, lineage cast, metal ears, etc.) could go for something around 2200$ if you want high accuracy. So you can compare with what is quoted in that old thread.

Maybe Fett isn't the costume for you , nothing is cheap on a Fett ....... A crack habit is cheaper imo
How is the quality of them boots?
Since 120 to 180 of your favored currency does not seem to be tooo expensive. Normal "good" shoes go for something like that and Fett boots are extremely specialized. Soo... unless they are super cheaply made and you need new ones every year....

Boots and shoes are mass produced to reduce costs in the real world , hundreds of thousands of pairs in all sizes. Fett boots are specialised with a small target market place ranging from sizes 8-12 . To stock these there is a minimum order run from the manufactures which involves a huge financial outlay for the supplier who often gets stuck with random sizes. £180 isn't expensive for screen accurate boots when you look at the bigger picture, our forefathers had to use some awful boots . Fett is an international hobby , factors like postage and custom charges can increase the final total by as much as 50% more . This hobby is suited to people who don't like money because you will never have any lol

MAYBE. But I passionately love the Charectrr and books that followed, and games. It seems a shame that a boot thT costs less than 10 pounds in materials is so expensive. Screen accurate I understand, but Nike boots are cheaper hehehe. I'll persevere n save.. Stay safe all

I get tall fhe close to screen used in film yrs ago were scraps and bits n bobs. BOOTS 180 Quid that cost maybe 20 quid to make, is a little steep. May look at buying material and and soles.... But each to our own. Ill persevere and keep going. Stay safe all. After all, its the making it yourself that gives the bu,z, not someone else making it for ya, but that's me hehehehe,
