Got some more paint down,
im thinking the grey is a bit to dark
so im thinking that i should redo the gray on the visor
get the templates and make sure theyre scaled to each panel as they may be different than the templeteThanx mate
The upper cheeks are next,
I did actually paint orange on the last 4 stripes, Its hard to see in the pics but if you were to look at it in peson youd see,
(Try this, blowing up the 5th pic and cover up the center stripes with your hand leaving 2 on either side youl be able to see the difrentse in colour then ,
As for the back panels , Im saving them till last , I may need to consider at least printing templates , so i can at least see the colours broken down to there individual patterns
Ive looked at the gallery pix over ad over and , and i feel ive got them pretty close
i think youre doing a stellar job mate, looking really good. with the grey on the visor, it could be a tad dark from those photos, but steel wool and a dullcote may change that too. i know on my test colours, i had to go with ironlak lazy grey for the dome and cheek area which is a darker grey, and then for the mandibles, i went with ironlak melbourne grey which is a shade lighter. i think its because the green is a greyish green, it needs to be darker on that area than on the mandibles, where the red plays off differently against the grey. youd hardly know they were different greys when looked at all together, and id say thats a good thing. not sure if this mite be what youre facing, but if so, a lighter shade on the mandibles mite be the right option. great work again bro!
