Best adhesive to use on Mystery Helmet

Ok so I need to do a little repair to the Mystery Helmet that I need to make the area where the rf stalk goes a little wider to prevent binding etc. I saw a previous post that someone used gorilla glue and styrene. Someone else mentioned JB Weld. What is the best one to use? For the RF Stalk area and also attaching the ears of the helmet?

I use nuts and bolts for the ears...and use JB quick weld on them to hold the bolts to the ears themselves it sets in a few minutes instead of hours

So do you countersink the heads of the bolts in the ears and put the jb weld so it remains flush?

Correct...I place the ears on the side, mark the area where I want to add the screw on the helmet, then drill a hole in the helmet place the ears on the side again mark the ear where I want the screw counter sink the hole LARGER then the head of the bolt, and JB weld it in there

I do it the same way as F4R you can see a pic of it here where I drilled the holes and when I get home I will post a pick of how I sunk the T-nut into the ear caps.

the best is the one i have handy

i've used CA glue (superglue), goop, e6000, epoxy putty. heck, i've even used bondo as glue in a pinch.

So you used T-nuts. Hmmmm. I was going to use a machine round bolt and a nut with some washers. Might have to look at the T-Nuts though.
