Disclaimer: This helmet was pretty rough when I started with it (my old trooping helmet). The existing prep work on it was not very good (done by someone else years ago) and the dome itself had several flat spots issues going on but instead of getting another helmet I really wanted to keep this one (partly for sentimental value) and to turn it into a sort of personal project for myself as well as a bit of a challenge to see how I could make it look. I sanded the cr@p out of this helmet (took off the old paint job of course but no pics of that part). Before hitting it with the first coat of primer, I covered all the sanding grooves with Bondo brand filler, then did two coats (sanding in between) with a final wet sand before sending it off to the body shop. Also filled in the dent (what a pain that was). It's only in primer at the moment, but here's some progress shots -
The key slots were horrible, so they had to be redone. I used RF's templates then measured and traced onto a thin sheet of .010 styrene and cut and covered the old ones and blended the edges in with Tamiya's white putty (awesome sauce by the way)
The ears that came with this were garbage (and horrendously attached) so I cracked them off and chucked 'em into the trash. Got some nice CC ones from Animefan. I hit them with Rub-n-Buff
Now just waiting on the body shop to finish it up for me. Friend of a buddy who's supposed to be a bad mofo when it comes to painting, so we'll see...fingers' crossed!
Anybody got an ID on this bucket? Would really like to know what it is, if anyone can figure it out. Thanks!

Wow, this looks great redkraytdragon ! And the list of where you've sourced the part is very helpful as well as I'm really swaying towards doing the Supertrooper as my first costume and hope to get it 501st approved (checking to see if this is one of the concepts that are approved as the CRL for those are not filled in at the moment).
I've reached out to SkyGunBro (thru his FB page) to check in on the Helmet first, (love both the super trooper & McQuarrie concept one he has) not sure if he's still doing them though. Fingers crossed!
